"You just want to cover up your own mistake," said Gohn.
Rondy returned to the hideout and warned the Five Black Stars' leaders not to target Ryujeen, but as expected, no one listened.
"We lost all our men because our guys were weak, not because the opponent was strong," sneered Binchi.
The Five Black Stars were formed by five leaders: Gaeta, Margo, Binchi, Gohn, and Rondy. Except for Rondy, the rest were all muscle-bound brawlers.
"That's not true. Objectively speaking, Ryujeen is an outlier. I wanted to recruit him if possible, but…"
"Hmph, coward. You've lost your edge!" taunted Margo.
"Rondy never had an edge, did he? Always relying on underhanded tactics, never wanting to fight fairly," Binchi mocked.
Binchi had a nasty, malicious personality.
"I'll go and bring that kid under control by force," said Margo.
Rondy sighed.
"Oh, dear… It's no use talking, is it? Brawn over brains, that's what they are…"
"What are you saying, punk? You wanna fight?"
"Cut it out!"
Gaeta reprimanded Margo, who was trying to act tough. Gaeta was the de facto leader of the group.
"If this Ryujeen guy really can use teleportation magic, he's definitely someone we want on our side," Gaeta said.
"I disagree. It's best to leave him alone. If we try to touch him, we might all be wiped out."
"Just like the Four Night Butterflies?"
"That rumor is fishy. It's hard to believe that the Four Night Butterflies would be wiped out by a single kid. And teleportation magic is unbelievable, it's only a legend. It must be some trick," said Binchi.
"Shin and the Five Swords were killed, though? Even the survivors say he's unbelievably strong."
"Are you sure they were really killed? Did you confirm the bodies?"
"No, I didn't… but…"
"Then there's a chance they're still alive, right? It's hard to believe that the Five Swords, with their skills, would be easily defeated. Even if they were, maybe he used some kind of underhanded tactics?"
"Rondy didn't witness the fight directly, did he?"
"That's… true. But even from the information I gathered, it's certain that Ryujeen is responsible for destroying the Four Night Butterflies."
"You're always talking about information, information, you're so clever. You wouldn't know anything about the opponent's strength until you fight them yourself."
Gohn didn't think much about complex matters and preferred to solve problems with brute force.
"Whether he used some trick or not, it's a fact that the Four Night Butterflies are gone. And the Five Swords haven't returned. We can't let our guard down."
"I talked to him directly, and Ryujeen doesn't seem like the type who's driven by a sense of justice to crush criminal organizations. He said he's not interested if we leave him alone."
"But if we attack him and then back down because we're afraid of being wiped out, it means the Five Black Stars are weak."
"I'll go take care of that little punk."
"No, if teleportation magic is real, he's a valuable asset. Is there no way to recruit him instead of crushing him?"
"I have a good plan. Leave it to me."
"What's your plan?"
"It's a secret. I'll show you a different approach than you."
"Are you sure about this? If you make Ryujeen angry, it'll be terrible!"
"Just watch and learn."
The next morning, Margo's men attacked Sister Ann's church, kidnapping all the children.
A messenger claiming to be from Sister Ann came to Ryu and told him that Sister Ann needed him at the church urgently.
Sensing that something was wrong, Ryu immediately teleported to the church, where he found Sister Ann and the Binchi group.
But the children were nowhere to be found.
Ryu used his Divine Eye to quickly check the church, but the children were gone.
"Ryujeen!"
"Oh, so teleportation magic is real. This is interesting…"
"You kidnapped the children."
"Straight to the point. I've taken them. If you want them back safe and sound, join me. Your teleportation magic would be useful.
What do you say? This is how things work in the underworld. No matter how strong you are, you have someone you want to protect…"
But even as Binchi boasted, Ryu's eyes glowed a strong golden color.
He was using his Divine Eye to its full potential, reading Binchi's mind and locating the children.
And in the next instant, he teleported all the children back to the church.
"...If I kidnapped them and threatened them, anyone would be forced to obey… What the?!”
"I got the children back. You should leave."
"H-How… You can do that with teleportation?!”
In the next instant, Binchi and his men realized that the scenery around them had completely changed. They had been teleported, all together, near the Five Black Stars' hideout in the slums. Ryu was with them.
"Let me tell you, the church is protected by a barrier. It's impossible to attack it with your men now."
Meanwhile, at the church, Binchi's men, who were guarding the outside, realized something was wrong and tried to enter, only to bump their noses against an invisible wall, feeling a sharp pain.
