Ryu and Sophie, along with the others, returned to the guild, carrying the goblin proof pieces and the collected herbs.

Sophie was overjoyed, having had a true adventurer experience with the quest completion report, goblin subjugation report, and receiving their rewards.

This marked the end of their newbie training, but Sophie insisted on entering a dungeon. So, they decided to go on another quest. However, they didn't have time to prepare on such short notice.

Ryu suggested using his teleportation magic for a quick, bullet-train-like sightseeing tour, but the princess insisted on experiencing an adventure like a normal adventurer.

Ryu: "Okay, let's spend tomorrow preparing for the dungeon attack and go to the dungeon the day after. Do you know what to prepare?"

Sophie: "Oh, of course, I learned during training. Tomorrow is shopping! It's going to be fun!"

Ryu: "You've been training, but maybe you've never shopped in town as a princess?"

Marie: "Sophie-sama cannot be allowed to go shopping. We will take care of the preparations."

Sophie: "No, I'm going shopping myself. Don't take away my fun."

Ryu: "Right, it wouldn't make sense if you didn't do it yourself. You're an adventurer now."

Sophie: "That's right, I'm an adventurer now! I'll take care of my own business."

Sophie seemed to be quite pleased with the title of 'adventurer.'

However, while they were having this conversation, someone suddenly called out to Ryu from behind.

"Hey you, how dare a mere commoner be so disrespectful to the princess? I'll have you punished for disrespect!"

Seeing the man who spoke, Sophie's face showed surprise, followed by annoyance.

Sophie: "Brother..."

The man was Harris, the third prince of this country. Apparently, he doted excessively on his youngest sister, Sophie.

But as soon as Sophie introduced Ryu, Harris' expression changed. He disliked Ryu's attitude.

Harris: "Insolent creature, get down on your knees! Don't you know that it's a crime for a commoner to even speak to a noble? Furthermore, you dare to speak disrespectfully to royalty? You deserve to die! Go on, capture him! No, it's too much trouble, just kill him here!"

With those words, the knights standing behind Prince Harris surrounded Ryu.

Sophie: "Brother!! Stop it!! I asked him to treat me as an equal, as an adventurer!"

Harris: "Oh, Sophie, are you alright? Just talking to a lowly commoner can taint your body. Are you feeling sick?"

Sophie: "Your discriminatory attitude is as bad as ever, brother. What are you doing in this lowly town?"

Harris: "I came to check on you, dear sister. I heard you went for newbie adventurer training and rushed here as quickly as I could. Such things are not fitting for royalty. Stop being so stubborn and come back to the castle."

Sophie: "I don't want to. I haven't been to a dungeon yet."

Harris: "A dungeon?! You mustn't go to such a dangerous place. Leave that to the lowly commoners. And what is with that outfit? You're quite dirty."

Sophie: "I defeated a goblin! Isn't that amazing?! This is blood splattered from the battle."

Harris: "Goblin blood?! It's dirty, it'll make you sick! Go back to the mansion immediately and change! Marie, what were you doing while all of this was happening?!"

Marie: "W-we apologize, Your Highness."

Marie and the others hastily knelt and apologized, remembering their duty.

Harris: "Alright, enough, Sophie, let's go!"

Harris called out to the knights who still surrounded Ryu.

Harris: "You lot, what are you doing? Hurry and capture that disrespectful commoner and dispose of him."

Sophie: "I told you to stop!"

Sophie stood in front of the knights to protect Ryu.

Sophie: "Can't you understand what I'm saying?!"

Knight: "Your Highness, we apologize, we are the personal knights of Prince Harris..."

Harris: "If Sophie says it's fine, then it's fine. But you need to change your clothes. Let's go."

Marie and the others also wanted to return quickly and wash off the dirt, so they urged Sophie and headed to the Lord's welcoming mansion where they were staying.

Sophie: "Th-then, tomorrow! See you in the morning!"

Ryu: "H-huh? Am I also going shopping?"

Sophie: "Of course! We're a party."

Ryu: "Oh, right."

Sophie called out to Ryu as she left, but seeing that, Harris ordered his knights in a way that Sophie wouldn't hear.

Harris: "Dispose of that commoner... Out of Sophie's sight."

Knight: "Yes, Your Highness."

(Scene Change)

(Ryu exits to stage left.)

Ryu: "Oh well, I'll go home and eat and sleep."

Ryu, after seeing the princess off, headed home.

However, three of Prince Harris' personal knights followed him.

They intended to dispose of Ryu out of sight.
