Deep within the damp forest, a swamp stretched wide and deep.
Together with the dense woods, it seemed to form a boundary, hindering the passage of living things.
At the bottom of that muddy swamp... there was a single life, behaving in a way that shouldn't be possible there, and a clear, pure space that spread out to envelop and protect it.
A place like a barrier, obstructing the passage of nearly all creatures and separating their habitats. In the midst of such danger for the living... a calamity... a spherical space existed, as if it had pried open a gap and settled in.
Koai walked alone at the bottom of the deep, wide, muddy swamp.
Carrying the luggage strapped to her back, she walked on in silence.
She walked quietly, creating an immaculate space around her.
It seemed no light reached the bottom of the swamp, and her surroundings were almost completely dark.
Even if light did reach, there was nothing worth seeing in any direction.
She already knew that.
Simply to light her path and avoid stumbling... Koai calmly used light magic.
There was nothing to see around her; she only needed a light to illuminate her feet.
...Even in a place like this, if she were by my side... I might be able to enjoy it.
