Before I knew it, I was pulling her by the hand.

"Ah..."
Koai realized this just as she led Snow out of the inn.
Koai stopped, still holding her hand, and turned back to check on her.

"Hm? What's wrong?"
Perhaps noticing Koai's expression, she looked straight at Koai and asked.

Her usual round, lustrous eyes, her gentle expression devoid of any harshness, her bright, high, clear voice.
The cheerful her, looking at Koai just as she always did.

"No, it's nothing."
Koai felt a sense of relief as she replied.
She had cut their conversation at the inn short, forcefully led her out, and taken her hand without permission... but for now, it seemed Snow wasn't displeased. That's what her face told me.
Confirming that, she felt relieved.

"Shall we go get something to eat?"
In the town that had grown a little dark after sunset, Koai walked on, still holding Snow's hand, relying on her memory from the other day.

As the two of them walked down the main street, Koai felt that many of the people they passed by were looking at them. The number of gazes seemed greater than when Koai had walked through this town alone.
Why could that be... Was it because her clothes were unusual, eccentric... perhaps?
Koai couldn't think of any other reason.

Not really understanding, she tried not to worry about it too much... and continued walking with her.

...Holding hands, strolling leisurely... just as she had excitedly imagined the other day.
