"I think that red bottle over there is probably filled with sweet wine. When I was present for the delivery, the villagers said to handle this bottle with care."
One of the guards... was it Joe? The man pointed to one of the shelves in the room. In the back of the shelf, two reddish-brown earthenware bottles were lined up.
"Only two bottles?"
Snow's voice was both sad and wheedling. Coai felt it gently squeeze the depths of her heart. In response, her own voice wouldn't come out. Though she couldn't speak, the desire to satisfy her spread through her chest, pushing back the tightness.
However, this was no time to be immersed only in this feeling. In this mansion, there was one more thing she wanted to enjoy.
A being possessing considerable magical power, a being that had perceived her own magic and was now in turmoil.
Is this being agitated because it sensed my magic? Or is it perhaps elated?
This being... to what extent? In what way...?
Coai held what might have been excessive expectations for this yet-unseen "enemy."
