Koai once again placed a hand on Snow's shoulder, continuing to watch over her.
"King, it's me. Can I come in?"
A low, casual voice delivered the not-so-formal words.
"Enter."
This voice and tone must belong to the large man, Akudo. Koai replied without any particular concern.
The brawny, muscular man who entered the bedroom in response held a small plate, disproportionate to his frame.
"I got that cheese I mentioned before, so I brought some."
"When she wakes up, I want to let her eat it."
"Speaking of which... is the young lady alright?"
"Her complexion is getting better. I think she'll be fine if we just let her sleep."
The two exchanged no more words, waiting for the others to gather in the bedroom.
"Your Majesty, it is Sodi. May I enter?"
The hoarse voice of the old man, Sodi, could be heard.
"You may enter."
Koai gave a slightly more polite reply than before. A moment after the response, a small old man and a youth with refined features visited the bedroom.
"It seems we are all gathered. In that case..."
The old man slowly began to speak about the future strategy and course of action he envisioned.
"So, Grandfather, are you saying we should forgive the humans!?"
After hearing the whole story, the youth, Lyuka, raised his voice. His voice was full of youthful vigor, but it seemed to lack a masculine depth.
"Lyuka, that's not it. I am simply saying that for a while, we must endure in order to build up our strength."
"To let the humans run free, even with Her Majesty here..."
The youth's face was twisted in a tight grimace.
