From within the castle standing by the quiet lake, she could feel the same sense of calm as when she had departed.

"Haa... I guess I'll just go to sleep for now."
After seeing off the large man who muttered this as he left, Koai also headed to her bedroom.

There was no one in the bedroom.

But even so, it was warmer than camping out in an unknown place.
Her warmth shouldn't have lingered there, and yet, Koai still felt a sense of warmth.

This was the place where she had been.

Koai curled up on the bed and, at some point, had fallen asleep. However, she was awakened by a reserved voice coming from the bedroom door.
"Your Majesty, Your Majesty..."

"What is it?"
As Koai replied and opened the door, the girl she had met upon her return to the castle was standing there.

"I have prepared a bath for you, if you would like... Or perhaps, shall I bring you some wine?"

It wasn't that she wanted to drink alone.

"In that case, I will take a bath."
"As you wish."
