Coai backtracked along the main street, stopping just before the area where the tavern was. A crowd had formed in the middle of the road, which was lined with shops.

From a distance, she could see some people stopping to join the gathering, while others ignored it and passed by. Coai decided to stop and see what was going on, approaching the crowd.

"How dare you assume we'll lose before we even fight, you bastard!!"

"I-I only said that's the voice I heard!"

Coai peeked through a gap in the crowd to see the center of the circle. There, a man in light armor and a man clad in a black robe seemed to be arguing.

"I certainly heard it. This morning, when I was praying alone..."

"I've been going around asking about that story since this morning... and it seems like only you church folk are saying such things, you know?"

"You got a problem with us or something!?"

Next to the man in the center, the other men who had been trying to calm them down also raised their voices.

In response, a small person standing by the robed man's side also began to argue back.
