In the bedroom where a spring breeze blew in several times a day, Koai, without even calling for Snow... was lost in a daze, thinking of her all alone.

A faint thought had begun to sprout in Koai's mind that she felt hesitant to call for her too frequently... but more than that, she was finding the moments spent thinking of her alone to be pleasant.
That in itself was pleasant, and feeling the difference between the her she imagined alone and the her she actually summoned... the her she could touch, was also pleasant.

So for several days, Koai slept alone.

Day and night, all alone, she slept to her heart's content.
Undisturbed by anyone, all alone, she slept while thinking of her.
Thinking only of Snow, she slept all alone.

She was immersed in the heat that welled up from the depths of her chest and spread throughout her body.
She writhed in a heat that felt like it was scorching her entire being, as if branding her with Snow's mark.

A flame ignited by her... one that tormented her entire being, no, her whole mind and body until they were reduced to a helpless pulp.
It was a flame, a high fever, born simply from thinking of her, even when she wasn't by her side.
They seared both body and soul, leaving them intensely numb.

And that... was so very pleasant.

Several days after giving Sody and the others Snow's book and shutting herself in her bedroom... Koai got up and left the room.
This was because, after several days of thinking about her... Koai had started to think that the next time she summoned her, she wanted it to be in a different place.
The last few times, she had summoned her in the bedroom of her current residence... Talas Castle. So, she was thinking it was about time to do it outside... in another town, where she wanted to treat her to food and drink.
