A vast plain stretched out before me.
Looking back, I could see the path through the valley.
The target town was said to be nearby.
The sun was about to set, but it didn't matter. I had to hurry on.
I'd heard there was nothing special to see along the way. I'll go straight to the town without resting or making any detours.
Bathed in the light of the setting sun, Coai proceeded west-northwest along the highway.
The low sun was a little dazzling, but she paid it no mind. She wouldn't be hindered by such a thing.

Later, the moon cast a faint light, but she paid it no mind. Even without it, she could see the road.
Coai galloped straight down the highway, without resting herself or her horse.
It seemed there were a few watering holes along the highway... but since the horse didn't try to go toward them, Coai didn't stop it either.
If the horse could still run, she wanted to press on as quickly as possible.
She wanted to reach the walled city of Lascaris quickly and make preparations.
