We were standing in a meadow near the house, with Crocelle and Orobas, getting ready to learn water magic.
This meadow would likely become our regular training spot for magic from now on.
"Alright, let's get started. I'll show you some water magic," Crocelle said.
With that, she started pouring water from the tips of all ten fingers on both hands. The water danced in the air, forming a giant water mass above her head.
"Wow!" I exclaimed, completely awestruck.
She was manipulating that much water without any incantations or magic circles.
"I acquired the same abilities as the water goddess because I ate her," Crocelle explained.
She mentioned eating the water goddess earlier, but I couldn't help but wonder if she actually ate her, like, with her mouth. The image made me want to laugh.
"Norman, you can't handle natural magic because of your constitution. How should I teach you?" she asked.
I had explained to Crocelle on our way here that I couldn't handle natural magic through conventional methods due to my physique.
Natural magic is a type of magic that involves controlling tiny spirits residing in the air. Fire, wind, water, and earth are the four major spirits, commonly known as the four great spirits.
"Well, then..." I showed Crocelle my left hand sigil.
I explained that I learned fire magic through summoning.
"There's a way like that, huh?" Crocelle clasped her hands in admiration.
"But... how do I do it? I don't think I can be as skillful as Aim," she said with a troubled expression.
Hmm, it seemed like I might have to start from scratch by learning summoning.
However, I never learned summoning in school. It's not included in the basic courses.
I have read a lot of magic books so I know about it theoretically, but that doesn't mean I can actually do it.
Even the magic book "Goetia" didn't have detailed instructions on how to summon spirits.
What should I do?
For now, we decided to put it on hold and head back home.
"Brother, you're finally back!"
My little sister, who was supposed to be at the mansion, was waiting for me in front of the house.
Why was she at my house?
As I wondered, a thought came to mind.
Maybe I could learn summoning from my sister.
