Koai and Snow returned to their bedroom to rest for a bit.

The two of them sat side-by-side on the edge of the bed, half-turned towards each other.

They sat down in the room for the time being, with the air that they would be heading out again after a short while.

"Still, this rule about drawing water even if you don't use it... I wonder if there's some meaning behind it?"

"I don't know."

"Yeah, you don't know either, huh... It's such a waste if they're not using it."

Drawing water without using it is a waste... that's how Snow put it.

Koai could understand the meaning of "a waste," but she couldn't grasp Snow's true intention behind it.

Because she thought, if the water was so abundant that they could draw it without any particular reason, then there was no need to be frugal with it.
