"What!? Don't tell me, is he here!?"
Following the angry shout, a bewildered voice could be heard.
"Look at that neat, prim face!"
"There's no mistake! I could never forget such a cold, suspicious-looking handsome man!!"
"Is that so? I didn't see his face, so I didn't realize... but if you guys say so!"
Koai ignored the commotion and tried to take a seat near the man who appeared to be the owner.
"Hey, mister, you sure about this? They're coming this way."
Just as the man who seemed to be the owner said, three men approached Koai. When she turned to look at them, she saw that all three were dressed like warriors or soldiers.
They approached with open hostility. However, from any of them... she couldn't feel any particularly noteworthy power.
Koai stopped looking at them and turned to face forward...
"Hey you, you seem pretty cold... spare us a moment."
"...What do you want?"
Koai found it too troublesome to even turn towards the voice, and answered without moving her body.
...For Koai herself, even replying with words was a chore.
"What's with you, acting all cool and distant."
"The Prestar Gang... Don't you dare say you don't know!!"
A different voice interrupted the slightly joking words of the man who had spoken first.
The Prestar Gang...?
A name she felt she'd heard somewhere... Koai thought, but she wasn't given time to recall anything more.
"My father's killer! Get outside!!"
Perhaps the youngest of them, a young man with his eyes wide as if about to attack at any moment, raised his voice.
