For the time being, Koai touched the contents of the bowl with the provided spoon.
From the feeling of the spoon sinking in, it seemed it wasn't very hard.
"Some people don't like the look of it, but well, do your best and give it a try. If you want, you can just close your eyes and pop it in your mouth."
Being told that by the shopkeeper, Koai decided to take a closer look at its appearance instead.
When she scooped up the contents, red grains overflowed from the spoon and returned to the bowl. Most of them spilled one by one, but some fell back in clumps of several grains.
The shape of each one seemed to resemble the eyeballs of a human or a beast... but the color and size were different.
And that fish from before... didn't have these red spheres on it.
He said it came from a fish, but what on earth could this be?
"Haha, it makes me happy to see you staring at it so intently. How about I explain after you've had a bite?"
Koai brought a sphere to her mouth with the spoon. Inside her mouth, the sphere, which felt taut, rolled around... and burst.
