Koai was lying down, stroking Snow's hair while leisurely gazing at her sleeping face.

It was the morning after they had both slept for a full day, but Snow still hadn't woken up.
However, she didn't seem to be in as much pain as yesterday morning. She was clearly on the road to recovery.
So there was no need to worry, even if she didn't wake up... Koai would just stay quietly by her side.

Koai's heart, too, had settled into that same quiet calm.
Koai continued to gaze peacefully at her sleeping face.
For Koai, it was an irreplaceable... warm moment.

By the time the sun had climbed high and moved to the south, Snow's breathing had become quite steady.
Still, Koai didn't try to force her awake, nor did she change her position... she just watched over her.

"Ngh..."

Then, Snow turned over in her sleep, ending up on her back.
This created a little space between them... with only one of her hands still tangled around Koai's arm, a slight breeze slipped between them.

Winter had only just passed... wouldn't she be cold?

Koai grew a little worried, but... Snow didn't wake up, nor did she show any signs of shivering.
Besides, her hand was still warm.

There was no change in her condition, so she was probably fine. For now, Koai would just stay by her side.

With that thought, Koai continued to lie there, gazing at Snow's sleeping face.
