Accompanied by a clamor, the smell of alcohol reached her nose.

It seemed several taverns were clustered in this area, creating a lively atmosphere.

For the time being, Coai decided to enter the nearest tavern.
Stopping at the entrance, she looked around inside. Compared to the taverns she had visited so far... there were more decorations on the walls and furnishings, and they felt well-balanced. In addition, it appeared there were many female customers.
As she continued to survey the area... one of the female customers noticed Coai and began hastily whispering something to the women at her table.

"Welcome. Are you alone?"
Another woman approached and spoke to Coai. Coai nodded silently.

"Then please, take a seat at the back."
As she followed the guidance and walked toward the back of the establishment, Coai suddenly felt several gazes upon her.

From the direction of the women she had seen earlier, she could feel something akin to heated stares.

One was toying with her slightly curly bangs with her fingers.
Another pursed her lips and straightened her posture.
Yet another pressed her lightly clenched right hand and forearm to her chest.

However, all of this was of no significance to Coai.
Paying them no mind, Coai sat down on a stool at the counter.

"Hello, and welcome to 'The Magic Lantern.' What would you like to order?"
Coai found the man behind the counter who was serving her to be unusually friendly.

"Are there any local specialty drinks or dishes around here?"
"A liquor called Aquaf is the standard around here. It's a strong drink with a clean taste, so it pairs well with food."
The man across from her answered Coai's question, his smile never wavering.
