When she stepped outside the shop, it seemed to be around sunset, and the surroundings had grown a little dark.
Koai crossed the main street, which was now a little less crowded, and headed back to the inn.

Near the entrance of the inn, at the reception desk... a woman was standing next to the man who had assisted her during the day.
She looked younger than the woman who had shown Koai to her room earlier. Yet, she had a calm demeanor and was dressed in splendid attire.

"Ah, welco..."
"Welcome back."

The woman turned to the man who had cut her off, looking slightly flustered, before quickly facing forward again.
Koai paid it no mind and asked the two of them a question.

"Do you know of any shops in this town that sell jewelry, accessories, or crafts... things like that?"
"Jewelry and crafts, you say... When it comes to such things, my master would know more than I."
The man said this, glancing at the woman beside him.

"Ah, yes, let's see... For jewelry, if you go down the main street toward the center of town... deeper in, there are two jewelry stores just before the residential district."
The woman placed a hand on her chin and began to speak in a leisurely tone.

"For other items, it depends on your budget... If you're looking for high-end goods... I think the jewelry stores could probably arrange it for you. If not..."
The woman's manner of speaking was slow, but she showed no signs of stopping.

"Ma'am, pardon my asking, but what is your budget?"
"Oh, right, I should have asked that first... I'm sorry."
Perhaps sensing something, the man beside her cut her off. And for some reason Koai couldn't quite grasp, the woman muttered an apology and looked down.

"Budget... The amount is of no particular concern."
Koai had no reason to be concerned, so she stated the situation honestly.
