When I opened my eyes, she was there before me.
With both hands, I was pulling her hand close.
Her sleeping face was peaceful.
I felt happy looking at her before me.
The hand I held in both of mine was warm.
The gentle breath from her sleep that brushed my fingertips was also warm.
However.
I realized it wasn't just that.
Her very existence was warm.
Feeling it right beside me was warm.
Very.
When Coai awoke to the brightness of the morning sun, Snow's sleeping face was right before her eyes.
A gentle, kind sleeping face, as if she were smiling slightly.
It was so lovely, and it felt so pleasant to watch her.
It was a very pleasant feeling... but Coai unconsciously wished to feel it even more deeply.
She wanted to snuggle closer, to feel Snow's presence even nearer.
And yet, while feeling this way... she didn't want to wake her with her own movements.
So, she leaned her body forward just a little... and while still holding hands, brought them to her chest... drawing Snow's hand closer without moving her or applying any force.
Snow's expression didn't change at all, and she continued to breathe quietly in her sleep.
Coai was relieved that she hadn't disturbed her sleep... and then, a gentle warmth spread deep within her chest.
It felt so pleasant that when she closed her eyes... she was overcome by the sensation of that warmth seeping out from the depths of her chest and throughout her entire body.
Feeling it, she couldn't open her eyes from the pleasantness... assailed by the sensation of her whole body being steeped in that seeping warmth.
