How long had she remained motionless under the night sky... Coi didn't know.
She was only clearly aware of two things: that at some point the night had given way to dawn, and that she had been able to gaze at the portrait of Snow to her heart's content.
Now, it wasn't the soft moonlight, but the dazzling morning sunlight that illuminated her portrait.
Coi moved to fold it... but her hand paused, reluctant to put it away.
What she was looking at now was, of the portraits Coi possessed... the one depicting her alone.
This painting, another one—the one drawn with Coi—and the small picture she first received, depicting her and several others... were all incomparably more beautiful, detailed, lovely, and vivid than any painting or sculpture Coi had ever seen before.
However, she wasn't a painter; in fact, Coi had heard she wasn't very good at drawing.
All the portraits Coi possessed were apparently drawn using her magic—the details of which were unclear, but it was a technique that used a thin plate of light she possessed.
...But she couldn't stay like this forever.
She had to quickly find out whether that town was a suitable place to summon her.
