Koai, as usual, didn't wake Snow sleeping in the bed... she just gazed at her.
Lying on the edge of the bed, she tried to keep Snow's entire body in her line of sight.
They didn't make use of the spacious room or the empty bed. The two of them were huddled together... as if nestling close on a single bed.

This time, she was dressed in a somewhat plain... calm-looking attire.
It wasn't the fluttering fabric from last time, which had a lovely color and a soft feel.

When she summoned her, she was often dressed like this.
What meaning the difference in her clothing held, or what the reason for it was... Koai didn't know.
If she were to ask her, she would surely answer with a carefree smile, but... Koai had no intention of asking.

Because rather than having such a conversation, treating her to food and drink... would probably make her happier.
And if she's happy, then I'm happy too.

That's right, when she wakes up... where should we go first?
That tavern we visited before, the one with the delicious drinks, would be good.
She'll surely be hungry when she wakes up.
We'll walk through the crowd together, holding hands, all the way to that tavern.

Koai gazed at Snow's sleeping face... while thinking about what they would do after she woke up.

Well, this time too, it didn't seem like she would wake up anytime soon.
As the night deepened, Koai once again focused her gaze on Snow's expression.
She didn't look particularly unwell. It was the peaceful sleeping face she had when she would wake without any distress.
With this sleeping face and this steady breathing... there was probably no need to worry.
