Chapter 52: Fall, Fall, Fall!

A riot broke out at the private Tensho Junior High School, affecting graduates, their families, and acquaintances.

While the incident resulted in no fatalities, more than a dozen people were seriously injured. Ninety percent of the injured were teachers at the school. The remaining ten percent were students, but even within that group, there was a bias: only students from Class 2-A suffered injuries, both major and minor.

The riot was quelled in thirty to forty minutes. Thanks to the swift action of the responding police force, all of the rioters were arrested, but they all reportedly wore satisfied expressions.

The school principal and vice-principal suffered the most severe injuries. Both sustained paralysis throughout their bodies. Their faces were grotesquely swollen from repeated blows, their limbs suffered multiple fractures from blunt force trauma, and they had internal injuries in several places from numerous kicks – their bodies were thoroughly wrecked.

Aono, the homeroom teacher of Class 2-A, also suffered several fractures and internal injuries. Several students in the same class sustained serious and minor injuries, including fractures and lacerations. All the injured were transported to the hospital.

News of this riot caused a significant stir, dominating news broadcasts and talk shows for over a week.

A few days after the riot, the principal, Hai, the vice-principal, the chairman of the board, and all homeroom teachers of the second-year classes at Tensho Junior High School were dismissed.

The deliberate cover-up of the unforgivable social problem of bullying, the neglect of the bullying victim while protecting and favoring the perpetrators, and above all, their reprehensible statements as educators, fueled a massive public outcry, drawing widespread criticism from across the country and ultimately leading to appropriate social sanctions against them.

In addition to the severe injuries suffered by teachers and students, the school building also sustained extensive damage. Due to the destructive activities of the numerous rioters, almost all the windows were broken, the staff room was devastated, desks and chairs in classrooms were damaged, and several other rooms were vandalized.

The school was naturally closed from the day after the riot was suppressed, and it is highly likely that it will be permanently closed.

Everything went according to Shoot's plan. His revenge against Tensho Junior High School itself was as good as accomplished.

"Hahahahaha! Ahahahahahaha! Ahahahahahahaha!!"

Shoot laughed.

"Serves you right!! This is the punishment for subjecting me to all that unreasonable treatment and degrading me as a person!! Hahahahaha!! It serves you right!!"

Shoot continued to laugh. He savored the unparalleled pleasure of having taken revenge on the school staff, not only physically but also socially.

"Ahhhhh. That shitty private junior high school is finished. No student will ever apply to that place again, not for eternity. It's definitely closing down.

The principal, the vice-principal, and the chairman of the board have lost their positions and jobs because of this, and they'll be living a miserable unemployed life, crawling along the bottom.

The trash teachers who work at that shitty junior high school will probably be half laid off and half transferred, but it's as good as impossible that any school would accept such garbage. Every single one of them will have their teaching licenses revoked, and their teaching careers ruined!

And the Class 2-A bunch, if they transfer to another school, they'll be subjected to cold, contemptuous stares from many new students for a while. They'll be labeled as the worst scum who turned a blind eye to bullying or even laughed at it, and a life at rock bottom awaits them too... Pukukuku."

He laughed gleefully, imagining the fate of the school, its teachers, and his former classmates. Shoot wished from the bottom of his heart for immense misfortune to befall everyone associated with Tensho Junior High School.

"Fall, fall, fall! Fall and keep falling, all of you!!"

"...Phew. With this, my revenge against the main perpetrators of the bullying, my former classmates, the shitty homeroom teacher, the principal and vice-principal, and... everyone involved with Tensho Junior High School...

It's all done. Successful. Over....

Looking back, it was all over so quickly. And every day was so fulfilling. Maybe even more fulfilling than my school life before the bullying."

This is all thanks to the power of the other world, Shoot thought to himself. He then shifted his attention to the other world. He hadn't transitioned to the other world once during his YouTuber activities. For Shoot, the other world was merely a means to his revenge at school. Now that his revenge was complete, there was arguably no point in actively going to the other world.

"But I don't know how long that swirl will stay in the basement, so I might go there again sometime. It wouldn't be bad to train there and gain more power."

After deciding to return to the other world, Shoot fell asleep, despite it being a weekday afternoon. Having achieved his revenge, he felt drained, and the moment he wanted to rest, sleepiness washed over him, and he drifted off. The time for the final procedures for his transfer to the local junior high school was approaching, but school no longer mattered to Shoot.

Surely time heals all wounds. The passage of long days and months will make you forget. It will solve everything.

However, he couldn't believe that. Perhaps that might be true for some people. But he had a hunch that it wouldn't be the case for him.

The first thing Shoot felt when he woke up was a resurgence of hatred for those who had bullied and humiliated him. He had taken his revenge. He had unleashed everything he wanted to do, broken all his targets, and sent them plummeting to rock bottom.

But Shoot's desire for revenge was not yet fully satisfied. Whenever he recalled those days of pain and humiliation, he was gripped by the urge to kill them.

( I'm going to kill them, Nakazato and the others )

He remembered the words he had spoken to Akemi before taking revenge on Nakazato and the others. As she had predicted that day, he hadn't actually intended to kill them, but his desire to kill them was genuine. There had been times when he seriously considered killing them, but his reason had stopped him.

Yet, even now, his murderous intent towards Nakazato and the teachers lingered.

"Should I kill them after all...? No, they don't deserve to be killed. Even if revenge means getting even until I'm satisfied, should I really kill them? Killing them and erasing them from this world might indeed feel good. But then their living hell would end. I wouldn't be able to torment them anymore..."

He took a 2-liter plastic bottle from the refrigerator and gulped down the water as he continued to ponder.

( I want them to taste hell until they die. Does that mean until I kill them? No... What am I doing, ending their living hell?

They should continue to suffer until they become high school students, adults, grow older, age, and finally die of old age. I won't let them off the hook with just one day of hell )

As he took out instant food and bags of snacks and devoured them, Shoot had a good idea.

"That's it...! When they're discharged from the hospital and able to go outside, I'll just torture them the same way again. I'll thoroughly break them just like that day, and send them right back to their bedridden lives. Then, when they're discharged again, I'll rush over and break them again. I'll keep repeating that endlessly! That way, they'll keep tasting hell for the rest of their lives! They'll keep suffering from wounds that will never heal...!

Those guys shouldn't ever go outside, they shouldn't be allowed in society, they should just stay in their hospital beds for the rest of their lives!"

Having come up with the best revenge plan he could think of, Shoot rejoiced at having found a new joy in life.

Since his body had grown considerably, Shoot felt that instant food and snacks weren't enough, so he went out to buy a lot of food. The sun was already setting outside, and some people were on their way home from work. Although Shoot was less conspicuous than before because he was wearing clothes that fit him, his handsome face still attracted attention from women.

Shoot decided to go to a supermarket where he could find a variety of products. As he walked down the street,

"Are you...? Shuto Mitsugi?"

A woman's surprised voice called his name, and Shoot involuntarily stopped and turned his face towards the voice.

"Ah..."

Sumire Hanamiya, in casual clothes, was staring at Shoot with an expression of surprise, as if she had encountered an unexpected person.

This concludes the School Revenge arc.
