Feeling a slight numbness, a trembling... Koai roused her body, which seemed to have been affected by the unceasing cascade of water, and stood up.
This sensation... Does this mean I'm supposed to use it for training?
This feeling... Is enduring this the training?
If I keep this up, maybe... I...
Although she had stood up, her legs trembled, somehow drained of strength. Focusing her mind on them once more and putting strength into them, Koai pulled herself out of the waterfall basin.
And so she stepped out from behind the waterfall, but a strange, lingering sensation... still remained within her body.
Koai sat down again at the water's edge, deciding to wait for her body to calm down. Her water-soaked robe felt heavy, clinging annoyingly to her skin.
Annoying as it was, she first stopped moving to rest and let her body settle.
As she rested for a while, the lingering sensation that seemed to seep from the depths of her chest began to fade, until the discomfort of the cloth sticking to her skin surpassed it.

She used magic to light the firewood she had gathered, and held her robe up to the flames that spread through the branches to dry it.
The flames... Koai felt no warmth from them at all.
She simply passed the time, only feeling her robe gradually growing lighter.

After turning her back to the fire to dry the front and back of her robe, she decided to explore the area.
Nearby, the sound of the waterfall echoed everywhere... and besides the falls, there was nothing but plants and stones, rocks and earth.
Aside from the imposing presence of the waterfall, it was a very dull place.
I've rested enough. Now, I must quickly train myself...
